Dangerousness (Youth)
Dangerousness (Youth)
At times the court will request an assessment of dangerousness if a specified offence has been committed and it seems to the court that the young person may meet criteria for a sentence under the dangerousness offender provisions.
Our forensic psychologists can determine level of risk associated with the offence and will assess how this relates to levels of dangerousness and possible sentencing options and length. This determination is completed by facilitating a rich clinical interview with your client, subjecting collateral information to robust review and analysis and finally application of criminal justice benchmarks.
